So clearly I am HORRIBLE at updating this blog! I am going to try my best to keep it somewhat current! It is overwhelming to go back and catch up on everything I have missed so I am just going to throw in a couple pictures and go from there! No looking back! Just moving forward.
So... yes it was a boy! Curren was born June 18, 2010 at 3:30 in the morning. He is a hard baby and if he was my first.... he may have been my last! He has an umbilical hernia, acid reflux and colic. Wow... that boy can cry for days! We are on our second medicine and it seems to be helping a little. Cross your fingers. Aside from that he is a healthy baby, which we are extremely grateful for.
Peyton is hitting terrible twos faster then you can say it! She has so much personality and sass! We love her to death. She cracks us up. But she is has a little bit of a split personality! No joke. At the grocery store she was screaming and being snotty, as soon as someone turned down our aisle, she stopped completely and in her sweetest voice says, "Hi!!!" and waves. As soon as they turn the corner.... watch out! Major melt down. She can work a crowd like nobody's business! She LOVES jumping, animals and doing anything her brother does. She is like a little parrot. She will repeat ANYTHING we say. I love when her dad is leaving for work in the morning and she says, "miss you!!!"
Gavin is growing so fast. What happened to my little boy?? I miss him... He is skateboarding like a champ! He is getting so good and I am so impressed. He loves it. He starts 2nd grade in 5 days. He learned his times tables through 12 this summer. He is the sweetest brother anyone could ask for. He loves his brother and sister and would do anything to make them happy. My favorite thing is when I overhear him having a heart to heart with Peyton or Curren. It is the sweetest thing. He has no idea I am listening which is the best part. I have recorded many of these in his journal.
Clay is still working in San Diego, which is a bummer. Poor guy spends 2 hours driving everday, as well as the 10-12 hours at office. He is a trooper and our hero! We love him to death. He has been training for a double century bike race (210 miles in one day) Crazy! The race is on Sept. 11th! He can't wait for BYU football to start this saturday. He is a great dad and husband!
As for me... I am taking care of 3 kids, trying to get sleep, trying to get organized, trying to spend as much time with each one as I can so I don't miss a thing, trying to lose the baby weight and trying to be a good mom and wife.
So.. here are a few of my favorite pictures...
