Winter in California!

So the past week and a half or so, it has been so warm, so we decided to... head to the beach! It was such a nice day! So warm and there was NOBODY there!!

It was Peyton's first time in a swimsuit and at the beach.

Friday night we dropped Peyton off at my parent's house and took Gav to Medieval Times. He had no idea where we were going and we made him close his eyes until we got out of the car. He was so excited when he realized where we were. We have driven by the "castle" thousands of times and he always talks about it. We had a blast, Gavin was SO into it! He was screaming, jumping up and down and when one of them "got hurt" he was VERY concerned. The people a couple feet from us watched Gavin more then they watched the show! He was a crack up!

Last Sunday was our first day starting church at 12:30, although that seems pretty late, I actually got ready for church instead of going with my hair wet and pulled back. I was able to get Gav dressed and we all looked like we were going to church. So I thought it would be good to document such an occasion!

The picture of Peyton is just funny, cuz that is typical Peyton! Making her eyes HUGE! Our favorite line for Peyton is from the movie, "Bedtime Stories." "Those eyes would be big on a cow!!!"

Christmas in Utah 2008

This was my first Christmas away from home in 28 years!! Can you believe that... I was a little bit worried, but we had the best time. It snowed for the first three days we were there. The kids had the best time playing in the snow, sledding, snowball fights and building a snow cave. We went to the movies, played games, and just hung out. We took Gavin snowboarding and had so much fun. His cousin Daxton went too and they both did awesome! We had a blast and we miss everyone!
