How did he go from this....
to this...SO FAST!!!!
Gavin turned 8! I can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday I was being sent home from the hospital with false contractions. When Gavin was born I remembering thinking, "wow it will be 2011 when he is baptized, that is SO far away!" Well it's 2011 and my little boy was baptized! It was awesome, I don't think the day could have gone any better. The whole day was ALL ABOUT GAVIN. His piano teacher played the piano, his primary teacher lead the music, I introduced him, his Aunt Tori gave the Baptism talk, the first song was his favorite song, "Do What is Right," his dad baptized him, his Grandpa did holy Ghost talk, his dad confirmed him, and refreshments were his favorite... Donut Holes! After his baptism we all went to dinner at Spaghetti factory. It really was a magical day, just seeing his little face light up was awesome!
I just want to say how much I love this kid! He truly is such an awesome kid! He is well behaved, makes good choices, always tries his best, is pretty much good at anything he tries, so kind to his little brother and sister, he is ALWAYS playing with kids that are half his age or younger and he is so good to them. Every morning before school he wakes up at 6:30ish, does his chores, gets dressed, gets Peyton and goes downstairs and gets both of them breakfast (he even lays a towel down so she doesn't spill) he does all this and doesn't even wake me up. He lets me sleep, occasionally I will get a, "mom it's 7:30." He is SO SWEET. He truly is such a blessing in my life.
He still loves skateboarding, math, piano, playing with his siblings, anything adventurous or outside, gymnastics, drums (just started taking lessons).
I will post his 8 year old interview soon.
I love this kid with all my heart! Happy Birthday Buddy!
