Prego Cheryl!

So a couple of people have asked me to put some pregnant pictures up, so here they are. I am about 19-20 weeks in this one, and now I am about 22 weeks. (What a difference 2 weeks make! Good thing I don't have pictures now!)

IT'S A GIRL!

You have no idea how excited Cheryl was walking out of the Dr's office this morning. She has wanted a little girl for so long and now in about 5 months her wish is coming true. Gavin was a little bummed...he was hoping for a little brother we could name "Ghost Rider".

Boy or Girl?

So tomorrow moring(May 22nd)we finally get to know if the Gardner family is going to be blessed with a little girl or boy. We can't wait!!

Cheryl is Pregnant!

Ok, so I know most of you have already heard that Cheryl is pregnant...I just thought I would share with you the pictures we sent to our family to announce the pregnancy to them. It was my dumb idea to include the pictures without any explanation in an email we sent to everyone talking about what we did that weekend. Almost everyone figured it out pretty quick.

Salt Lake Marathon

To help me stay motivated and continue running I signed up for the Salt Lake Marathon. I thought I could get Cheryl to join me but she went and got pregnant. Nice excuse babe! I did about half the training I needed to but still felt pretty good during the race even with 26mph head winds for about 13 miles. My parents, sisters Cassie and Payslie and Brother-In-Laws Derric and Joe all ran the 5k the same day. It was a lot of fun hanging out with the family in Utah for the weekend.

The Mini Vespa

So a few weekends ago our friends Jason and Mandy Wheeler tipped us off about this huge neighborhood garage sale in Mandy's Parent's neighborhood. We decided to go and see if we could find any good deals. Somehow I was able to get Cheryl out of bed before 9:00am so we could make it to the sale by 8:00am. We are such garage sale rookies!! By 8:00am most of the good stuff was already marked as sold and people were driving away with truckloads of used treasures. We did however find a few gems like Gavin's new little Electric Scooter. This thing is so sweet. It cruises at 15-20 mph and can hold up to 220pds. Gavin loves it and is not scared at all of cruising "full throttle" down the sidewalk by himself as we yell for him to slow down.

My Turn!

So ever since Cheryl found out she was pregnant I've been told that the Blog responsiblities are now mine. Since the last real post on our Blog was early February I guess I'm not doing a super good job. The last time I added a "post" to my own journal was who knows how many years ago so hopefully I'll do a better job on blogspot. Forgive me as I try and catch up on the last few months. - Clay
